I'm so excited to be able to see the most spectacular region of our galaxy, the Galactic Center, once again at 35 degrees latitude. The moon light was dimming the Milky Way quite a bit at 65% illumination and rising at 1:10am, just behind the Milky Way rising. (You can see the Moon behind the trees in the lower center of the image.) Looking forward to seeing the Galactic Center without Moon light interference on the 11th!
