Nikon Coolpix P900
A monitor lizard sticking out its neck while wading in this pond with water lily pads. According to Wikipedia, this lizards belong to the genus Varanus and are native to Africa, Asia, and Oceania, and one species is also found in the Americas as an invasive species. About 80 species are recognized. Monitor lizards have long necks, powerful tails and claws, and well-developed limbs.
Saw one here while I was strolling in the nearby neighbourhood park.
