Image Details:

This is an image and annotated image of Nova V1405 Cas. The nova sets quickly in Tucson AZ after twilight where the imaging conditions were a fair seeing with the dust present and Bortle 5+ sky. Annotation produced by Astrometry.net upload with the Nova's position added in processing. The nova is approx mag 7.8. With the longer days the nova sets quickly in Tucson so there is a short window to image it and soon no window. It is an interesting sight, a distant star flaring in explosion a short time and then will fade away.
