Image Details:

This is an image and annotated image of Nova V1405 Cas. The nova sets quickly in Tucson AZ after twilight where the imaging conditions were a fair seeing with the dust present and Bortle 5+ sky. Annotation produced by upload with the Nova's position added in processing. The nova is approx mag 7.8. With the longer days the nova sets quickly in Tucson so there is a short window to image it and soon no window. It is an interesting sight, a distant star flaring in explosion a short time and then will fade away.
