Planned mostly with Photopills, some work on MoonCalc.org... both great resources for planning these types of shots. I use ISS Detector for seeing upcoming local flyovers. This shot is taken from the pier at Lighthouse Park and, according to Google Maps I was right at 900 feet away from the Lighthouse.
