Unusual Sunset behind Chikanga West Township
Grey skies with rain cleared on Tuesday afternoon to reveal an unusual sunset behind Chikanga West Township in which the Sun emerged from cloud and appeared to grow a tadpole tail before disappearing below the horizon. This effect was caused by atmospheric refraction and reflection of sunlight from underlying cloud.
