This picture was deliberately taken of the full moon tonight. The foliage infront turn out to be out of focus, but that made the moon look like a soccer ball. The moon was 99.9% full and about 404,000 km away. This moon coincided with the mooncake or lantern festival celebrated by the Chinese and it is also the Harvest Moon.
