olympus sp-565uz, manual mode, 15 sec. open shutter, f/2.8, ISO 1600, 5mm focal length
It was beautifully framed: Comet Neowise (center bottom, just above horizon) was sandwiched between the horizon (under which it now no longer passes, skimming the trees and proceeding to rise again in the sky) and the Big Dipper (top left quadrant). The night sky was unusually crystal clear, making Neowise's position relative to the Big Dipper breathtakingly obvious. Ooo! Aah! Ooh!... Thank you, Neowise for this once-in-a-lifetime view!
