As I went further on my morning walk, I came across this little beauty.

Hibiscus, I believe it's called. It goes by other names such as Rose Mallow and The Rose of Sharon.

Here in my country, it's popularly known as the Gumamela flower.

It thrives in countries with tropical climate and it's quite abundant and scattered all over the city.
