The lensball is a bit gimmicky, but I do so love the color and light and magnificent presence of out-of-focus stars!
This shot is the result of me oversleeping.... I had meant to wake at 2:30 a.m., be out and set up by 3:00 for a tracked/stacked/pano sequence. I woke on time ... but fell back to sleep. Bad nightscaper!! 🙁 I woke again at 3:50. Astro dark was ending in ten minutes.... I figured only had time for a few single shots. No time to drive anywhere. So lensball bokeh it was.
