I drove an hour out to Eleven Mile Canyon State Park hoping to get a picture of the moon's reflection in the water. I found, however, that much of the reservoir was still covered with ice. While the moon was low in the sky there wasn't any reflection at all, but I liked the contrast of the bright yellow moon with the cool bluish textures of the ice and free water.
