Ursa Major & What Is It?
Took this pic while waiting for a few clouds to clear before shooting (attempting to) the Milky Way core over the southeaster horizon, there was a reasonably sized hole in the clouds almost directly overhead so I couldnt resist taking a few snaps of "the Big D"
Image details: 28mm lens, ISO 3200, f/1.4, 30 second exposure with tracking
My assumption is the larger streak is a passing satellite, however, there's a more interesting little guy just to the right of Ursa Major (near M40? Dubhe? the Deep Hubble area?) that is much more meteor like...but I'm open to suggestions as to possibilities...cheers and thanks!
