Two close-ups of old Moon-Jupiter Conjunction
These two pictures, which were taken about twenty minutes apart, contrast the views of the conjunction in early twilight when Earthshine, two moons of Jupiter and two stars close to the Moon were still visible and late twilight when both Moon and Jupiter were about to fade from view. See also that the distance between the Moon and Jupiter has increased in this short time.
