Venus in Post-Sunset Twilight Sky
Following a week of welcome rain during which more than 150 mm fell in Mutare, the weather started to clear on Tuesday afternoon to reveal a letterbox sunset which was followed by strongly colored post-sunset twilight glow and glimpses of Venus shining brightly between lingering remnants of cloud (see four frame mosaic). In the third frame the Pisces star Fomalhaut has appeared center left above Venus and in the last one Neptune is faintly visible close right above Venus.
