View of the Moon's Southern Hemisphere 8 hours after Last Quarter.
The lava fields between Copernicus and the Southern Highlands are loaded with "ghost craters". These are ancient impact craters that were filled to the rim with subsequent lava flows. Fun area to explore with a high magnification (>100x) scope.
