Image Details:

An image of mine showing the penumbral lunar eclipse at its
maximum, earlier today.

The eclipse from Rome was a great sight. While it was just a penumbral one, I
could easily see the darkening of the Southern region of our Moon by naked eye.
Sure, if you were not aware of the eclipse, you could easily miss it, but once
informed, you would have certainly seen the darkening.

Weather was perfect and the vision was enriched by the presence of the stars
Castor and Pollux in the same spot of the sky.

I was happy to have reserved some time to look at the eclipse, as it was
fascinating, despite not comparable - of course - to a total one.
