Nikon P900
Third quarter moon in Singapore on 19 Dec 2019. Section of the Moon seen here with details. This was captured from Nikon Coolpix P900 and was amazed that one could zoom so close.
There are no continuous features separating Mare Cognitum (The Known Sea) and Mare Nubium(Sea of Clouds) but rather a smattering of sunken craters.
Bullialdus, named after French Astronomer Ishmael Bullialdus stands out prominently, with a considerable depth of 3.5 km.
Arzachel, named after Spanish-Arabic astrologer Abu Ishaq Ibrahim al-Zarqali has a depth of 3.6 km.
Rupes Recta, a linear fault, a few hundred metres tall.
