Getting up close and personal with the Heart of the Galaxy with Jupiter still in the neighborhood.
This is one of the last opportunities to capture this apparition with such detail. Lunar glare will soon prevail. By the time the Moon exits the evening sky again, the Galactic core will be too low on the Western horizon. And my nights are not this transparent very often!
