Nikon D750 with Nikon 28-300 zoom at 300mm - F5.6 ISO 320 for 1/8
This is a combination of two exposures, one for the moon and one for the star
I was able to get up to Taylor Reservoir near Cottonwood Pass over the Rocky Mountains. The quarter moon was very bright, as was a nearby star. They made a beautiful combination in the night sky. Based on the Star Walk App, I believe the star was Aldebaran, and a high zoom does show a red/gold color.
