Perseids are back!
Since the peak is going to be washed out by moonlight, I went out on Saturday night into Sunday morning to watch the Perseids. It was an awesome show even if it was not the peak. Lot of small and large meteors streaked throughout the sky. I managed to capture a fireball and was immensely happy that after 4 years of chasing Perseids, I finally had my camera pointed in the right direction. The moon set at 1:45 AM and then I had a 2 hour 30 minute window to shoot. This is by far my best meteor shot.

Foreground shot - Taken last week in Acadia National Park.
