Monsoon rains do a nice job of cleaning up the atmosphere. In between storms the sky is unusually transparent. Unfortunately this lull lasts for a very short time! By the time I set up my scope the clouds you see at the bottom of the image dominated the scene.
Of course Jupiter is the brightest object in this shot.
