Here is a view I captured on May 12, 2016 in Acadia National Park in Maine near the Otter Cove area (about 3 a.m.). You can see bright Mars on the right in Scorpius. The dark skies were amazing!
This was captured using a Canon 6D and Samyang 14mm lens, 30 second single exposure at ISO 3200, tripod mounted.
