Long Point Provincial Park is a provincial park on a sandy spit of land called Long Point that juts out into Lake Erie near Port Rowan, Ontario, Canada, just 54 miles (88 km) south of Brantford, Ontario, Canada. It’s the fourth oldest provincial park in Ontario, with one of the largest bird and waterfowl migration areas in North America located within a designated World Biosphere Reserve. While there are no designated stargazing areas, the lake is accessible by the public year-round and offers unobstructed, unpolluted views of the night sky. Please note that while camping is allowed, the park grounds close to the public in the evening and are not permitted for overnight stays without a reservation.
