		<description>Candice, Rather than gas vents (which as you say don&#039;t look like this on earth) or erosional vent/channels (again - why would they develop radially? - surely a preferential direction would develope) I wonder if these features may just be the CO2 equivalents of Hydrolaccolyths (- or Pingos). The fracture system looks like the deformation you see through radial extension - formation of a dome.  Geometrically like the fractures in sediments underlain by a salt dome. The formation of Ice will do that on earth - there are lots of pingos to look at for analogues - and polygonal pattern formation? Just a thought.
