Thomas Vilsack is the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. He is also a research associate at the University of Colorado School of Law’s Energy and Environmental Security Initiative (EESI). Mr Vilsack received a law degree from Albany Law School in 1975. He practiced law in Iowa, then entered politics to eventually win election as governor of Iowa.
