R. Paul Robertson, MD, is President of Medicine and Science of the American Diabetes Association, a national health organization dedicated to preventing and curing diabetes. Prior to this, Robertson served on the Association’s National Board of Directors, as Editor in Chief of Diabetes, the Association’s leading peer-reviewed research journal, and on numerous research oversight, policy, and review committees. He is also Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology at the University of Washington.
