Nancy Moreno is a principal investigator for the ‘butterflies in space’ project, launched in November 2009 to the international space station, by the National Space Biomedical Research Institute and University of Colorado at Boulder. She is a professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Much of Dr. Moreno’s work involves improving science literacy and education. She received her Ph.D. from Rice University.
