Larry Goldstein

Larry Goldstein is Professor of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine, and an investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He was a full professor at Harvard in the Department of Cellular and Developmental Biology, and moved to UCSD and HHMI in 1993. His lab at UCSD provided the first descriptions of kinesin structure and organization, and has recently discovered important links between transport processes and diseases such as Alzheimers.
