Kathy Jacobs

Kathy Jacobs has more than twenty years of experience as a water manager for the state of Arizona. She is also executive director of the Arizona Water Institute, and deputy director of the NSF Sustainability of Arid Region Hydrology and Riparian Areas. Jacobs testified before the U.S. Senate in March of 2009 on the nation’s water issues, and the discrepancies between water science and water policy. She is a professor in the University of Arizona’s Soil, Water and Environmental Science Department.
