Jonathan Lynch

Jonathan Lynch is a professor of plant nutrition at Penn State University. His research focuses on plant adaptation to infertile soils. Dr. Lynch’s work, in collaboration with plant breeders, has resulted in new varieties of beans and soybeans which yield bigger crops in low-fertility soils in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Dr. Lynch holds a Ph.D. in plant physiology from the University of California/Davis.
