Jim Szykman studies air pollution at the National Exposure Research Laboratory at the Environmental Protection Agency at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.. He is principal investigator of the Remote Sensing Information Gateway, a visualization tool for environmental data, and he helped develop IDEA: Infusing Satellite Data into Environmental Air Quality Applications. Dr. Szykman has contributed to dozens of scientific papers on aerosols and remote sensing.
