Denise Bode analyzes energy policy and leads the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) as its CEO. In 2009, The AWEA contributed to the 2008 Wind Technologies Market Report by the U.S. Department of Energy. Bode is a former Corporate Commissioner of Oklahoma, with a background in law. She formerly served as president of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and was part of President George W. Bush’s Energy Transition Advisory Team.
