Daniel Levitin is director of the Laboratory for Music Perception, Cognition, and Expertise at McGill University and associate professor and James McGill chair in Psychology, Department of Psychology, McGill University. He is the author of two New York Times bestseller books, “This is your Brain on Music” and “The World in Six Songs.”
