Daniel Doctor is a geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey. He is working on the Karst Applied Research Studies project of the Eastern Geology and Climate Science Center in Reston, Virginia. He currently serves as a field geologist conducting geologic mapping in the northern Great Valley of Virginia and West Virginia, and he’s working on a new digital compilation of the National Karst Map.
