Anthony Andrady is a Senior Research Scientist at the Engineering Technology Division of Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International in North Carolina. He is an expert on making nanomaterials, especially nanoscale fibers. He also has a keen interest in the effect of plastics in marine environments. Andrady has published over 100 papers, including chapters as well as an edited book, on various aspects of polymer – better known as plastic – research.
