Andrea Goldsmith


Andrea Goldsmith is a professor of Electrical Engineering and Faculty Senate Chair at Stanford University. Her research focuses on the design, analysis, and fundamental performance limits of multimedia wireless systems and networks. Dr. Goldsmith’s industry experience includes co-founding and acting as Chief Technical Officer of Quantenna Communications, Inc., a semiconductor company developing next-generation wireless network technology, as well as affiliation with Maxim Technologies where she worked on packet radio and satellite communication systems, and with AT&T Bell Laboratories where she worked on microcell modeling and channel estimation.
