Amy Zander chairs the Committee for Advancing Desalination Technology for the National Research Council (NRC), of the National Academy of Sciences. Her focus is on seeking new solutions for providing safe drinking water and for minimal impact of treatment systems on the natural environment. Dr. Zander is also a professor and Associate Dean for Academic Programs at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.
