I am a fan of watching the moon as well. Is it just me or does it become more egg shaped as the month moves on? Can you explain this to me?

I was in prison a few years ago. Every night we got to go outside to smoke once an hour. I started watching the moon. I had never realized that the moon doesn't follow the same kind of pattern that the sun follows. One night the moon might be in the East a couple of nights later it might be in the south. It would move from hour to hour but not like the sun. The moon is way more unpredictable than the sun!! It made me a moon lover.
