I'm surprised that Dr. Shulte doesn't make that extraordinary claim, given that he's identified here as Shell's Chief Scientist for Reservoir Engineering; I would think such information would be his bread and butter. Even he speaks of "coming DECADES," not millenia. I certainly hope we don't use fossil fuels etc. for 2,000 years -- even if we have a *million* years' worth of the stuff -- for reasons of pollution alone. Wow. I think that soon the biotic theory of oil formation will be relegated to the status of myth. Now, we must get the politicians out of the way so we can exploit these resources!
