Hello Delmar, we are so sorry you've had problems on the site. In fact, our "host" - run by another company than ours - is the one having problems, so the situation is a bit out of our control (although we've asked for a discounted rate this week, since the problems have been going on several days). We have several interviews with Joel Cohen. I believe this one is the most recent: http://earthsky.org/human-world/joel-cohen-top-10-key-population-trends-on-earth-with-7-billion

EarthSky won the Population Institute's award for Best Radio Show in 2011. So perhaps the site issues colored your view? We do try - with the resources we have - to cover population.

Many thanks for visiting, and we hope you get a better impression next time you come!

This is the first time I have visited your website. I hear your newscast on the local PBS station frequently. I was interested in the story on 7 billion people and decided to visit your site.

I am, frankly, disappointed. The pages take "forever" to load. Addition information embedded in the articles do not open. The search function failed twice before it found articles on 7 billion.

Perhaps it is because of the newscast this morning (it is now 7;05AM) flooded the website. Or perhaps it is another reason. My computer was just booted up so it should be relatively fresh.

The article by Joel Cohen on the "math of human migration worldwide" was more like a teaser than an article of substance. Perhaps more information is available but in the embedded information that I cannot open.

While EarthSky may be a clear voice for science, the same cannot be said (or read) about its articles on the website.
