For example, increased education for women around the world has led to more women in the global workforce ... and a decline in birth rates. Lowering the birthrate is of course needed to keep human population at reasonable levels. And it's interesting to realize that women are key - of course! We should have known ...

It is true that men have championed the course of Agric in Africa however, I think the time has come for women to take their natural role of keeping the home going .A renouned Ganaian once said that educating a man means educating individual but educating a woman means educating a whole nation. For me women constitute more than half of Africa's population and i believe this is the time to give them a boost in agric to enable them feed us better.

I must say that women and men are both of the same species. Or were, the last I heard. The idea that the women will save Africa will work as well as it did in occupied Ireland. Men and boys, deprived of their natural roles as breadwinners join bands of brigands, thieves and terrorists to work off the energy that would have been spent raising and supporting families.

More feel good thoughts bereft of rationality. Capitalism, private ownership of property and government doing its proper job of protecting the property of the individual will work much better.
