Most of the time ants send scouts and they really stumble on to the sugar, he doesnt know its sugar till he really tastes it. then he goes back to to the nest. He doesnt use a trail of necter or anything he uses his sense of feelings like a bat with its radar but in this case he uses his antenia with this he finds his way back to his nest and usually guides the other ants to the location of the sugar thats why they call them worker ants of course. once the ants find there way to the necter they work and work and work to feed their young which is called pupea and their queen. which really over eats thats why shes so fat and constantly preagnet.
