Maureen, if you'd like, I can walk you through accessing the Tree Carbon Calculator and we can have it up and running on your computer in about 5 minutes. I work with Greg. My office phone is 530.759.1725 on Mon, Wed and Thurs. For now, this is the only version we have. We are still probably 2 years away from the web version.

In response to Cathie Wilson's comment, we had a bug in the executable file which misplaced the file---it created another PROGRAM FILE within your Program Files folder. Inside that you'll find the .xls file. You can either take it and drag the .xls file into the carbon calculator folder under program files, or delete it all and download again. We fixed the problem on last Friday (9/11). Sorry for the frustration!

Greg McPherson said the Forest Service plans to eventually make the tree carbon calculator into a web based application. In the meantime, you can contact the Pacific Southwest Research Station at the url I've listed above for help.

I\'d love to use the Tree Carbon Calculator, and the three pieces of info are no problem. But the download instructions are. Is there a simpler way to the calculator?
