hi is is really true? regarding about Davey comment, it was a weaver ant (leaving on tree)..how about house ant? can they climb upside wall on glass?

If you watch, “Ants: Nature’s Secret Power’, one species of ant in the laboratory is shown upside down on a glass plate, and is slowly given a half-gram weight to carry in its jaws, This weighs 500 times the ant’s own weight. This ability to hang-upside down has nothing to do with hooks, but with a liquid that forms an interface between the glass surface and the feet of the ant. How the ant controls this I have no idea, the program does not explain unfortunately.

This artical was about ants walking upside down. It also told about other animals, such as cockroaches can walk upside down to. It said that they have have little hooked claws on the end of their feet. also their are many kinds of ants that cant walk upside down. so then you wont have to worry about roaches falling off of the ceiling.
