Private: Amazing animation shows inner life of cell

08-09-2007 - Uncategorized

This wonderful animation titled “The Inner Life of the Cell”, was created by XVIVO, a scientific animation company, for Harvard biology students. The animation illustrates unseen molecular mechanisms and the ones they trigger, specifically how white blood cells sense and respond to their surroundings and external stimuli.

And … it looks really cool.

It is a simple version of the chenical processes that occur within our cells every moment. It is almost incredible that we as a complex organism can look inside ourself and understand what makes us what we are.

Very beautiful …

you can tell by electron microscope shots, which show this kind of detail. Also looking at the induvidual chemicals helps.
