Supervising Senior Producer

Jorge Salazar has conducted thousands of in-depth interviews with scientists in the process of creating science content for EarthSky. He is EarthSky’s senior supervising producer, responsible for the wealth of new science podcasts heard on a variety of media platforms each week, and he is one of a team of hosts for the “Earth & Sky”:http://earthsky.org/radioshows/ and “EarthSky Clear Voices for Science”:http://earthsky.org/clear-voices/ podcast series. Jorge has physics degree from the University of Texas at Austin, but he also knows a lot about a lot of different things. He has explored subjects as diverse as nanotechnology, ecosystem-based management, climate change, international environmental treaties, astrophysics and cosmology, and environmental security. His penetrating research style, poetic writing, and ability to track down and speak with Nobel prize-winning laureates, all make him a huge asset to EarthSky.
