Chief Audio Producer

Joel Block has been a co-host and chief audio producer for EarthSky since 1991. One of the most popular voices on commercial and public radio, Block got his start as a “gopher” and assistant music librarian at WOR-FM in New York City, followed by a 3-year stint in the US Air Force’s American Forces Network and time behind the mic as a radio DJ. He is a master of audio production.
